With this passionate plea to the audience from economics, science, adminstration and politics Norbert Geyer, director of Geyer Group, hit the peak of the event labeled "Best Practice in Innovation Management" which took place in the Berlin Chamber of Commerce on February 7th 2008 under the patronage of Dr. Annette Schavan, Federal Minister for Education and Harald Wolf, Senator of Commerce in Berlin.

As part of the innovation initiative "New Federal States" the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) funds the forum und supports the Technology Foundation Berlin (TSB) as the organizer together with the local government in Berlin and the Future Agency Brandenburg (ZAB).
Dr. Olaf Schemczyk, CEO of Condat AG, pointed out the importance of the customer in the innovation process: "He challenges our creativity through defining his individual needs. This initiates the inovativeness of the employees we need in order to be successful."
