Innovation Prize for hemophilia project

In the beginning of november the project groups of the hemophilia centers in Münster, Frankfurt and Berlin were awarded the Innovation Prize 2007 for their joint project Haemoassist. With this the German Telemedic Association (DGTelemed) recognized the innovative approach of an Electronic Patient Diary for the hemophilia therapy, which was developed by hemostaseologists, Clinische Studien Gesellschaft mbh (CSG), Wyeth Pharma AG and Condat AG.

The Condat solution Skyware Patient Diary deployed in the project allows for safe and paper-free capturing of patient data and can be kept flexibly through mobile devices. Through a secure GSM connection diary entries are sent directly to the Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) and are available in realtime for analysis.
